A short note with the three things to send before we meet. Reply with the deck link, your quiz score, and the one specific problem you want solved in our session.

Call day

The session.

Fifteen minutes, on Zoom, on time. We open with the gap, work the most expensive blocker first, and close with a single next step.

Within 24 hours

Written follow-up.

A short recap: what we decided, what to fix in the deck, who to email next. No fluff. Forwardable to your co-founder.

Week 1 onward

You run the playbook.

The frameworks are yours to use immediately. The 7-day course, the quiz, AI Angie, the Weekly Letter. Everything you need to keep moving without me in the room.

When it counts

Office-hour access.

For active engagements, one async email per week with one specific question. Reply within 5 business days. Use it like a sniper rifle, not a firehose.

Fifteen minutes is fifteen minutes. The clearer you are walking in, the further we get walking out.

Send these three things before the call

Your latest deck. PDF or Google Slides link with edit-comment access. Whatever version you would actually send to an investor today.
Your Investor Readiness Quiz score. If you have not taken it, do that first. Take the quiz. Ninety seconds.
One specific problem. One sentence. The most expensive thing in your way right now. Examples that work: “My traction slide is lying about itself.” “I cannot get warm intros from my network.” “I have three offers and a cap table problem.”

Have these on hand during the call

Round size you are targeting and from which type of investor (scout, angel, micro-VC, fund).
Current MRR or other traction numbers, exactly, in dollars.
A short list of the investors you have already pitched and what they said.
Any term sheet or SAFE language you have already received, in writing.

What you do not need

A polished pitch script. We are working on the inside, not the show.
A finished business plan. The deck is enough.
An apology for where you are. You are exactly on time for what comes next.

Response time

Five business days, maximum. Most of the time it is faster. If something is genuinely urgent, put URGENT in the subject line and tell me what is on fire in the first sentence. I take that flag seriously and so should you.

Calls outside our scheduled time, except for genuine emergencies.

None of this is unfriendly. It is the only way I can do good work for you and the other founders I am supporting at the same time.

How to get the most out of working with me

Rule 1

Time is more important than money.

Money shows up later. Your time does not come back. Run the framework, save the months.

Rule 2

Bring questions, not validation.

If you want someone to tell you it is fine, that is not me. Bring the thing you suspect is broken. We will fix it.

Rule 3

You run the round. I do not.

I am the operator behind the operator. The deck is yours. The cap table is yours. The conversations with investors are yours. I make all of those sharper.

Rule 4

Show up rested.

Business starts with biology. Sleep, eat, train. A founder running on fumes negotiates badly. Investors notice.

Rule 5

Say what you mean.

Plain language. Real numbers. Specific asks. The clearer you are, the faster I can be useful.

Rule 6

If the playbook stops, so does the value.

If you take a session and do nothing with it, the next one will not help either. The framework only works if you run it. That is on both of us.

Answers, up front

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Use the reschedule link in your calendar invite, ideally 24 hours before the session. Last-minute changes are fine when life happens. Repeat reschedules signal something else is going on, and we should talk about whether the timing is right.

Can my co-founder join?

Absolutely. Reply to the confirmation email with their name and email and I will add them to the calendar invite. If you are CTO and your CEO is the one running the round, the CEO should still lead the call so we are working with the actual decision-maker.

Can I record the call?

Yes, with one ground rule: the recording stays inside your team. Do not post it publicly, do not share it with other founders, do not feed it into a content tool. It is your reference, not a redistributable asset.

What if we cannot fit everything in fifteen minutes?

We will not. That is the design. We pick the most expensive blocker and solve it. Anything we do not get to becomes a written note in your follow-up, with a recommendation: handle it yourself with the framework, address it in our next session, or hand it off.

Can you sign an NDA before I send my deck?

As a general policy, no. Investors and operators across the industry do not sign NDAs at the pitch stage, and signing them on inbound creates conflicts as the portfolio grows. Your deck and quiz answers are treated as confidential under the standards laid out in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you have a genuinely sensitive trade secret embedded in the deck, redact that one slide.

What if I am not actually ready to raise yet?

That is the most common honest answer in pre-seed, and it is fine. Tell me. We will use the session to map what gets you ready: the missing piece in the team, the metric you need to hit, the wedge to sharpen. The fastest fundraises start with founders who waited until they were genuinely ready.
